A veces, algunas canciones pasan desapercibidas la primera vez que escuchas un disco. Pero si la canción en cuestión es especial, de algun modo tarde o temprano acabarás escuchándola. Y la verdad es que me alegro de ello, porque si no nunca habría oido este tema tan increible..
He descubierto una canción que merece estar considerada al mismo nivel al de muchas canciones de Barry White. Y eso no es nada fácil.

¿Es estos trip-hop llevado al extremo? Este grupo se ha convertido para mi en una referencia sobre este género con tan sólo cinco álbumes de estudio, una banda sonora de una película y un disco unplugged(en directo, sin enchufes, acústico). Y esta canción de su cuarto disco muestra de lo que son capaces de hacer: hay tantos matices a lo largo de estos 4:50 minutos que es necesario escucharla varias veces para ser capaz de darse cuenta de toda la riqueza musical que tiene.

Hace cinco años no me di cuenta que este disco estaba en el mercado. Tampoco he visto la película de Donnie Darko, ni he escuchado su banda sonora, así que no tenía ni idea de la existencia de esta versión de la canción de Tears for Fears. Por el contrario, sí he visto el anuncio de Gears of War (wow!).
